Offsets Along Streets

Offsets along a street can create a sense of space, induce a calming effect or make space for greenery, play or parking.

Double Dislocated Offset

Y and T Junctions

3-way junctions can be handled in different ways and can allow for making calming spaces or focal perspectives.

Turbine Places

Turbines are used to create focal perspectives and create space, calm and breaks in a spatial configuration.

Entrances

Entrances are used to induce a feeling of entering a new neighborhood with the potential of creating a defined community for the people residing within.

Public Building Placement

Public or otherwise special buildings can have a deliberate placement in order to create a landmark or reference point within a neighborhood.
